Online Bioinformatics Contest from Stepik/Rosalind

Happy New Year ! Here is a great way to bring some fun and challenges to your new year. We got a note from Nikolay Vyahhi, who helped build Rosalind and Stepik, that their organization is hosting a bioinformatics competition. The details are posted below -
Bioinformatics Institute jointly with Stepik and Rosalind announce the Bioinformatics Contest 2017 – the programming competition in solving problems in Bioinformatics. If you are interested in bioinformatics, enjoy solving complex problems and have some experience in the field of computer science, molecular biology, genomics and machine learning, do not hesitate to join the competition! The contest will take place online in Stepik and have two rounds -
- Qualification round - 1 week - January 23 – 29, 2017
- Final round - 24 hours - February 18, 2017
