Believe it or not, UC Berkeley is going to implode.
Many people are surprised that UC Berkeley administration is going after the most reputed department with seven Nobel laureate faculty members and another eight Nobel prizes from PhD students, when it could cut fat elsewhere. They believe, when a bureaucratic system reaches a crisis point, everyone comes to senses and make correct decisions to fix the system.
