A Great Review of Various Sequencing Instruments/Technologies

We came across a review titled [Field guide to next-generation DNA sequencers] (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1755-0998.2011.03024.x/abstract) by Travis C. Glenn with incredible amount of useful information captured in four highly informative tables. It also taught us a new word that only NGS professionals can appreciate. Sneakernet - “transferring files by physically transporting hardware i.e. carrying or shipping hard drives containing data)”.
